Navigating parenthood & ambition together | 01.06.2026 Copy

In December, CEOmoments opened a different kind of CEO conversation - one about parenthood, partnership, and the pressure of trying to be fully present at home while carrying the weight of business decisions.

The session was planned as an open, facilitated discussion with plenty of room for member questions and shared reflections. It was designed to feel safe, human, and real.

We welcomed Stefan and Jeni Ivanovi, the duo behind Neverest, who shared their family story of building a boat in a garage, crossing oceans, and raising two children with courage and curiosity.

Their perspective helped members explore what “emotional presence” looks like in demanding lives, how to raise grounded and confident children without predictability, and how a family can move as a team.

What made the conversation especially helpful was how practical the insights became. Stefan and Jeni spoke candidly about building resilience through effort (not instant rewards), focusing on gratitude instead of fear of failure, and the power of trust and empowerment - letting children make real decisions and grow into responsibility.

Members also took away relationship principles that apply both at home and at work: respect even in conflict, flexibility in the small things while staying aligned on the big picture, and asking for support early - because community shows up when you let it.

For many CEOs in the room, the value wasn’t only in the answers - it was in hearing their own tensions reflected back without judgment.

A special touch of this gathering was that each member was invited to bring their partner. From the moment people walked in, the room felt warmer, more grounded, and unmistakably “family.” Conversations started earlier and more naturally and the tone shifted from purely CEO-to-CEO to something more whole: partners listening in, recognizing themselves in the stories, and adding nuance that you only get when both sides of the same life are present.

It turned the morning into a rare space where ambition and family weren’t competing themes but they were part of the same conversation.

And our special gift for everyone was the "Neverest" book signed with personal message from Stefan Ivanov.
